Ta-Da!!

It's finished! The tank with the lace pattern in the center. Which I started two weeks ago. My first-ever garment. OK, it's not a challenging sweater with sleeves that needed interminable shaping and piecing together, but it IS a garment none-the-less. I'm very pleased with the end result. I had to learn some new techniques with this project: the importance of a gauge swatch, shaping (armholes and neckband) and I actually adjusted the pattern for an xs size by reading the math involved for the other sizes, and 3 needle bind off. Yay me. :-) I hope my best friend likes it. Good thing this will never fit me, or it would be hard to give up. I gotta show it off up here before I send it down to the Keys. A fitting way to celebrate my 1st bloggerversary with a finished object, yes?
