I've never been to Jamaica.

But I did finish Montego Bay! I started it on the plane on the way to Tucson, and knitted some of it while I was out there, and on the plane ride home. I thought I'd finish it there, it was a really an easy pattern. But I did not have as much time to knit as I thought. This is how much got done in 5 days:

This is the finished scarf. I love it. :-) I adore the seasilk. I love this colorway. It was a gift from a Ravelry exchange. She said she agonized over choosing the color for me, I think she did perfectly. If I knit this again, the only thing I would do differently is make the fringe strands longer, and use 4 or maybe even 3 doubled instead of 5 as the pattern suggests. The scarf itself is plenty long enough to wrap around my neck a few times.

A perfect summer accessory.
