It's a Heat Wave...

A heat wave is in the forecast for the next few days with temps in the 90's and humid... and it's not even summer yet. Damn, it was hot in Tuscon when I was there last week, in the 90's. It was hot, but here with this humidity, blech. I spent the late morning and early afternoon outside spray painting one of the new all weather wicker look chairs and tending to my flowers until it got too hot. The chair was one of 3 I bought a few weekends ago. The other 2 are on my front porch (that I never use) and they are fine as they are, white. The white chair on my deck just didn't go, so I used that Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastics and now it's "honeydew". I'm looking forward to sitting in it (it's got a comfy cushion not shown) and knitting when it's not so freakin' hot. This is the Saturday sky, at around 3pm, 95 degrees.

LOVE the chair. I think it would clash a bit with Stardust, but I can only wish that we were close enough to find out. It's too soon to be this hot.

Love the paint job on the chair. Looks like a great place to sit and knit with a cool lemonaid next to you.

I don't mind when it's hot in the summer (which doesn't start for 2 more weeks!) because I expect it. This is knocking me off my feet. My body is not ready and neither is my psyche!

Too bad we couldn't even things out a bit, weather wise. Our high was 58 yesterday, with showers. Burrrsy wurrsy! Your deck looks tropical, and that chair is heavenly!

I should download my photos from yesterday. We drove to Santa Monica for the day. There's a park, just up from the beach. I can get the beach feel from the grass and not have to walk on sand. It was warm here...but fabulous at the beach. I'll never be jealous of your humidity.

Hello, friend. The Krylon works good, you shouldn't be disappointed with how it holds up.

Yes, finally hot here, too. Let's enjoy!

It is 90's here in Alabama and the humidity is unreal. I think we usually hit the 90's somewhere at the end of June or July.
