It was so chilly out that when I came home from errands this afternoon, I had to bump up the heat to get the chill out of the house. During the week, my heat system is on a timer and the temp is kept very low during the day to not waste heat on an empty house. Reggae has a fur coat and cozy blankets to curl up in, so he's fine. It's set to get warmer at 6pm when I get home. More often than not, I'd find Reggae getting his tummy warmed when I got home from work. He knows the cycle, he'd come from wherever he was in the house to ta
ke advantage of the warmth at 6pm. The heat hasn't been on much since the weather was warmer, except for today. As soon as the heat kicked on...this is what happened. He loves that floor vent.

Oh Reggae looks likes he's got his spot...gorgeous boy! Give him lots of hugs and pets!
Wow, cloudy is right...we don't get too many of them out htis way, if we do mostly in the winter time. I would love to have the 60's back..getting too warm to fast here.
Enjoy your Sunday!!
Today (sunday) feels just like saturday. We turned off the heat a while ago so when it gets colder we just put on sweaters. We got temps of 36 degrees at night last week. I hope this means that summer won't be so brutal. I would like some warm spring days, though. Cats are pretty smart for having brains the size of walnuts.
I love the look on his face. "Heating vent? What heating vent? I'm not blocking any heating vent."
That is so funny! He's totally covering the whole thing - what a smart boy!
Ok, so not only do we share the same birth year, and almost the same birth day, but evidently we share pets with the same heating vent fetish. Take a good look at my ravitar - Oscar is firmly planted on the heating vent. :)
Its feeling like Saturday here on Friday too
