The Mystic Light Night
I joined the Mystic Light Lace Shawl KAL. Although the hostess is using a yarn with oranges for fire light, I wanted my Mystic Light to represent the late afternoon sun, setting with glorious colors, blending into the dark night sky with stars. I couldn't find the "right" yarn for it elsewhere, so I asked Amanda to custom dye some yarn for me. This is her creation. It arrived yesterday, and I love it! It will look so very nice when I finally get a chance to start the shawl. I'm way behind, the 2nd clue came out Wednesday, so I guess I am not KALing, I am KLing (knit latering) But it will happen. So many projects, so little time....

Hi, there! I'm so glad you like it, and can't wait to see how your shawl comes out. I think if you start it now you can catch right up so you're knit-alonging. ha ha...
Beautiful yarn, great color combo's you both did. Love Mama's yarns!
You'll catch up so you can knit along..lol
love the colors. can't wait to see it grow. You are going to like knitting with Amanda's yarn
I bet you're not the only one behind. The wrap will look gorgeous. Did you send Amanda a photo of "early sunset" or just tell her a few colors? I love the color combo.
Love your yarn, kudos to you and Amanda!! I am representing mine differently too but I intend to collect all 5 clues before I start to best decide on the graduation of my colors. And yes to refer to your Saturday post, the weather in NJ this weekend was totally different then what they predicted!!!
Beautiful! Amanda's yarn is always the best. I can't wait to cast on with mine, but I've told myself I have to finish Fredfoot first.
Celestial colorway! Please show us the shawl as it progresses. I bet it will be stunning!
I'm knitting the ML too. I finished clue 1 on Friday. I haven't started clue 2 yet. I'm in the slow and steady group. Join us
What a beautiful yarn! Good luck with the shawl - make sure to post so we can all enjoy!
