Has it Been a Week?

Or, it has been a week! Wow...thinking back to last week at this time, I couldn't imagine that my dear Reggae cat would be home now, and how much better he is. It is a little miracle. Indeed, a few of those 9 lives of his were spent, but hopefully he's still got a few left to get him through another hurdle, if that should arise. I'm still watching him like a nervous mom, but so far, so good. He's been eating, and keeping it down, and showing interest in more than just sleeping. The test results of the urine culture were normal, and the urinalysis was negative. I guess it was just an infection that invaded his system, and hopefully eliminated. I've learned: gagging and throwing up is not only signs of a hairball, and any changes in "normal" behavior are cause to get to the vet ASAP. Cats are very good at hiding their illnesses until it's almost too late. This is the sky today, which, unlike last week, has some happy! with hints of spring in the air, temps were in the mid-50's.

I'm so glad my little friend is doing lots better! I'm sure the meds they had Reggae on help fixed what was ailing him :)

Beautiful blue sky, wow!!
Hope both you & Reggae enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

I'm glad that Raggae is doing better. We have a sick kitty in our house now... and I think we're on the "too late" spectrum. Needless to say I'm in knots over this.

It was a much nicer Saturday sky than predicted. Spring is almost here! It is so heartening to hear that Reggae is home and almost back to himself.

Lots of strokes and treats to Reggae the ripper. Here's hoping he stays well and doesn't put you through that ever again.

Lovely sky!

I'm so glad it is all but a distant memory. Tell Reggae not to scare you like that again!
