Never Meant To Last

The coast of central NJ finally got some measurable snowfall yesterday. I think this storm dumped twice as much snow as was forecast; originally, our area was in the 1-3" range, it was more like 4-6." When all was said and done, to the north, they got more. I was really waiting for a stay at home blizzard, but that didn't happen. I heard many reports of messy commutes and bad roads, but I decided to chance it and go in to work. It wasn't so bad for me. I had my handy guy come by to shovel for me, and my new car handled the roads as if they were clear. Yay Kate! This is our snow yesterday morning at 9am.

The evening and overnight brought some rain, and rising temps into the 30's, so this is what the same area looked like today, at 3pm. Blech! Never meant to last... Today was just dreary damp and drizzly, with the temperature not moving from 32 degrees, so says my TWC desktop icon. This is today's Saturday Sky. I think the clouds are stuck!
