Permission Granted..to Knit Fearlessly

Sandi Wiseheart of Knitting Daily has been talking about "knitting fearlessly." Today's e-newsletter summed up something I've realized during my lace knitting these past few months---"Thus, perhaps the First Pithy Saying of Fearless Knitting is this: Know Yourself. (I am learning, this is so true: )If you need peace and quiet to knit a particular pattern, then shut the door and turn off the phone (no TV no interruptions nothing but lace...if you know what's good for you) so you can knit your heart out. If you need to use four dozen markers plus tick marks on a sticky note to count your stitches, then buy yourself a ton of markers and stickies. Figure out whatever it is that you need to make each knitting session comfortable and successful, and then do exactly that. And if you make a mistake, giggle, figure out what happened and how to fix it, so you can keep on knitting."
Words of wisdom. I can knit fearlessly...I can...I can..

Good for you. I need to work on that too. I am far from fearless...

Yay for fearless knitters! I am knitting my first lace shaw. Not fearlessly, much trepidation, but I am forging ahead nonetheless.

Found you from Kristin's blog. We have two Abby's as well - aren't they great? I love your thoughts on fearless knitting. I'll have to give it a try.
