Our Fur Kids...

It is the most difficult decision to make, but it is the most peaceful way for them to go. Please go over and visit Chan, and leave her some good thoughts because she and her husband had to send their lovable basset Fred over the rainbow bridge last night. The vet discovered it was cancer that was causing him such illness, and found a large mass behind his liver. My dog Clint, a black lab I had when I first moved into my house had the same thing. So suddenly it took my heart with him. But, Fred is now playing with all those belvoed pets who've gone before him.
While I was surfing blogs the other night, I found a cause for helping another knitter's injured kitty, Snickers. Laura and Jen created a really wonderful scarf pattern, "Hugs for Snickers" and all it takes is a donation of $5.50 and you'll get the pattern and help defray the veterinary costs for Gina and her husband.
Before you go to sleep tonite, remember, in addition to giving your husband, your s/o or your kids their good night kisses, give an extra pat and kiss to your fur kid. For all their sometimes annoying and always loving ways, we are all they have. I'll end this post with a picture of my Reggae, napping this afternoon in his kitty pi. I am so pleased he uses it.

Thank you so much for giving Snickers a public service announcement. I really appreciate it.
