Finished Objects

The striped tank is done, and I will give it to the recipient tomorrow in time for her to wear this weekend.
I totally love the way this yarn played out.

I also finished Amanda's Squatty Sidekick. The left is before felting, and the right is after and being blocked.
I used SWS in Natural Pink. I used 1 1/2 skeins for the bag. Which means, I have 1 1/2 skeins left. I wonder if I have enough to make another? Should be, right? It was my first time I used it. I liked knitting with it, it was so soft and I love the way the colors played out. I had to run it through 2 1/2 cycles to felt it, the first barely did anything, the second was 'almost' so I ran it through a 3rd (2 1/2) which is where it is now. I would have like to seen a little less stitch definition, but I think I would have ended up with a purse for Barbie if I let it go any longer. I think it turned out very cute.
I'm going to cast on the bag for the FFBE sometime today, and think of something to make for the knitted part of the K1T2 exchange.

The tank came out lovely. I love the color combination that you chose.

Also, the bag looks awesome! I've been eying that yarn for awhile now, but I haven't taken the plunge yet. It's good to know that you're a fan of the end product.

The tank is beautiful! I love lime/aqua combo.

And your Sidekick just goes to show how differently we all knit. I needed a smidge from the 3rd skein to finish the handle and knit the closure. Go figure. I should have mine posted tomorrow. I wanted to get a button...but maybe I'll post without it.

great tank! love the lacy front panel...your sidekick is adorable. i used that very SWS for an entrelac shawl and really enjoyed working with it too...also SWS for those fibertrend felted clog slippers....i found that it felted really fast and thick for me...different machines i guess....i don't know what i'm going to make for Knit1Tea2 either.....still trying to sort it out....
