Spring Felted Bag Exchange Goodness!

These are my gifts from the awesome box from my super -swapper, Mary. I apologize for the suckiness of the picture quality, el-cheapo camera is not cooperating today. Mary crocheted and felted me that cutest purse in Noro, which, she told me, gave her fits. Those fits were worth it, I love it. A perfect go with anything bag. She also included 3 hanks of Big Noro in neutral/brown tones for me, a book with patterns to knit beaded purses, 2 sets of stitch markers she made, one with little dice (Mary is from Vegas!) and one with tiny shells, they are adorable. She also crocheted a holder for stichmarkers, that's something I'd never seen before, how cool. Some coffee, my favorite scented body creme, pink grapefruit, a guardian angel for my car and a note pad. And Mary was so sweet packed goodies for Reggae, look at his treats! 3 snacks and cat grass to grow. She said she had a toy for Reggae, but her very pretty but very naughty pup Lady got to it first! That's OK, Reggae says, he likes treats just fine! ;-) This was a fun swap, and even more fun to find out that Mary was an online friend who did a good job of
keeping herself secret.
Today my secret pal I've been knitting for, Bette, received the bag I knitted and some goodies I
sent to her. So now I can finally post the before and after pics. She will hopefully post better pictures of the "after" bag. I loved knitting this bag. I loved the colors, the yarn, and the shaping. It was HUGE before felting, but shrunk up nicely after a couple cycles. I've named this bag "Martinique" because it reminds me of the shades of the Caribbean sea and the rocky shores and mountains.

Love the bag you made, especially the colors, and I'm still laughing about the matches I made. (You aren't the only "already pals" I matched up.)
