It was a GOOD day

Today was a happy good day. They don't happen often, so when they do and I have time I've got to note them! I had an early appt. to have the Cadoo serviced, I chose early and to wait rather than take a loaner to work; I'd knit while I waited. I took along the shawl I've been knitting on and off. The "lounge" was full, folks reading, or just watching the TV. One elderly lady said she should have found some knitting to do, when she saw mine, saying, she used to do that. ;-) No one else commented on my knitting except the customer service man who called me in when the car was done, he asked what I was making. :-) It really didn't take all that long for service, not nearly enough knitting time. When ever I've had my vehicles serviced in the past, I never really noticed a difference. And the Cadoo, well, she runs like a charm always, I was quite surprised when I noticed an even better ride. wow. just an oil change and tires rotated and
some other minor thing I can't remember...LOL.

I got to work only a few minutes later than I normally do, and work was not too awful today, I was more productive than I'd been in a while. I even left early. Oh, and I found out that I *might* get to go AZ this summer/fall if a certain someone can work out the time off. I need a vacation so bad, I just hope I can physically manage.

Now for the best part of the day: when I got home, there was a box waiting for me from the mailman...It was from my "secret pal" from the Spring Felted Bag Exchange. I found out that my Pal was Mary from Las Vegas. And wow, did she ever spoil me, and Reggae too! I will post the goodness pictures on the weekend. I totally was thrilled with everything, especially the bag she made for me. I am one lucky girl. Thank you Mary for being such a great Swapper!
