Spring Has Sprung...

The birds are chirping. The grass is trying to green up. Trees are trying to bud out. But damn! The temps are quite chilly to start out this first week of spring! Monday it didn't rise out of the mid-30's, today it's in the low 40's. Will it ever warm up?
I caught these crocus in a flower bed around one of my oaks on my way in to the house last night. It's rare I get to see them bloom before the squirrels munch them down, so I had to get a quick shot. Excuse the leaf debris, Mr. Lawn Guy hasn't begun the spring clean up yet.

Happy Spring!

We were in Florida last week and spent two days in the Keys. We didn't have a chance to stop at Bahia Honda beach, but we're planning to spend a month at Marathon this summer, so I'll be sure to look up your friend then!

Hi again! We're leaving for Florida after work today. We'll spend a few days with my daughter, then by next Wednesday we'll be in the Keys. Six whole weeks!

My sisters are flying down the weekend after we get to the condo, so we'll be visiting the beach at Bahia Honda frequently. We're happy to just sit on chairs in the water, read, and soak up the heat.
