A Multi-Purpose Post

First, Happy New Year! I am glad 2008 is over. If 2008 was wonderful for you, I wish you more of the same this year. If 2008 wasn't good to you, I hope 2009 brings you only happiness. For me, 2008 had it's ups and downs. I am hoping for more ups this year. I haven't made any resolutions, they don't stick. I am just going to try to be a better me, and see where that leads. :-)

Secondly, Happy Birthday to me! Today is my birthday; how fast time flies. Last year, I spent my birthday week in one of my favorite places, Key West and the Florida Keys. This year...I will be here, at work. I have regrets that I didn't plan a trip for my b-day, but a vacation will happen as soon as I can finagle a few things.

I found this quiz...What does your birthdate mean? This was scarily accurate for me! Yes, I do have some psychic abilities, but I don't always listen to those voices. And those who know me, know I certainly certainly clash with authority figures, especially CPAs and CFOs at work!

Since this is Wednesday, that means it's time for a Whiskers On Wednesday post , so I must share this birthday card my BFF Kathy sent me. It's so perfect for me. It's not a picture of Reggae, (scroll down for our Christmas post to see my handsome dude) but it's appropriate.

So there you have it, my multi-purpose post. I know my blogging has been far and few for the past couple months. I'll get back into the swing of things sometime. At least I will try. :-)
