Update: Still Here!

Such as it is, here is a drive-by post to let you know I'm still alive and kickin'. Thanks to Miss Me for checking in with me, it gave me the nudge to at least do a little post. All is well, I'm just not doing my regular routine since I've still got company. My poor bff never expected to be here so long, but you do what you can for family! Her uncle is hanging on still, but barely. Cancer is not kind, and her aunt is trying to come to terms with the future without her husband. I'm glad she has Kathy to lean on, but I know Kathy wishes to be home in the warm FL Keys.
My camera is full of pics of Saturday Skies, Rhinebeck (so fun!) and the spoils from there, weekend things we've done, and more. Just finding the time to get the pics off the camera, shrunk and made pretty to blog, and then blog is difficult, when I need the time to knit too! And there has been knitting going on. I can talk and listen while knitting. I've been working on (all Rav links, sorry) a cable hat, the chevron scarf, my sections for the traveling scarves, and my favorite current WIP, now that I got past the icky parts: the February Lady Sweater, which is coming out very nice. Will it be done in time for Stitches East? hmmmm...time will tell. Who's going to Stitches East next Saturday, besides Chan and Annie? I don't know if I'm more excited about Stitches or meeting these two ladies! :-)
So that's it in a nutshell. Days go by, and life goes on!

Wow. I didn't realize that it had been almost a month. I'd emailed you though, and heard from you. I really understand the BUSY right now.

I would love to be going to Stitches. Ours is in February I think. Maybe another year.

I was just checking in on Blogland - I have definitely fallen out of the blog loop. I'm on Facebook each day - it is the perfect combo of Bloglines, blogging, and instant messaging. So, that is doing the trick for me these days in terms of keeping up with everyone. I have missed you. I'm under "Amanda Dahl" in Facebook if you join, so look me up! Chan, Michelle, and bunch of others from Blogland are there, too.
