It's summer, and my honeysuckle are in their second bloom already. Which means, hummingbirds! I don't see them usually until August, but Reggae alerted me to look up while I was having coffee on the deck this morning. I did, thinking it was one of our resident finches he wanted me to see, but to my surprise, a hummingbird darted from the honeysuckle to the butterfly bush and zoomed off. It was a glorious day today, unlike last weekend. A sunny sky, temps in the upper 80's with a light breeze.

Summer Time Saturday Sky
It's summer, and my honeysuckle are in their second bloom already. Which means, hummingbirds! I don't see them usually until August, but Reggae alerted me to look up while I was having coffee on the deck this morning. and I am stuck in the house, I want to be outside so bad, but the allergies don't help the pleurisy at all!!! Enjoy some honeysuckle and breezes for me!
It was a perfect summer saturday! Hot and sunny but not humid. After I got finished the saturday chores, i enjoyed sitting outside for a change. Although, I have to watch out for the cicada killer wasps which have made their appearance again. I can hear the cicadas now letting me know it's getting hot!
Sounds like a perfect Sunday! Would love those 80 degrees...lol
Sun and heat out here have my honeysuckles browing but I know they'll be back in a couple month. Enjoy yours for me!
Reggae needs a membership in the Audobon Society. Does her talk or stare or what? How does he alert you?
beautiful honeysuckle blooms! our hummingbirds have been and gone already, although we'll see them again later in the summer. they're such amazing creatures!
