This Week's Knitting: Something for Me.

OK, so there are countless patterns out there to knit. Yes, I've made 3 of this pattern so far, but it's easy, fast, and I had the yarn...so I cast on, again, another lace panel tank top sweater. But this one is for me. I need to perfect my modifications I've made to the original pattern from Plymouth so this time I'm taking notes. I thought the yarn I chose, Plymouth Linen Isle, had more colors showing in it, it's rather plain compared to the other 2 I knit...but pale pink is one of the colors that looks good on me, so it's OK.
I started Monday evening I think? Here's my progress:

It's going fast, and since I only knit during the evenings this past week, I think that's something.
I have to include the close up of the stitch markers I'm using. These were in my package from my pal in the Cocoa swap, Patty R. They are from Wee Ones, on Etsy. I love them! Can you see the little toes on the bottom of the kitty feet? So cute, such detail. (clikie for biggie)
That's all on the knitting progress this week. I've needed a no-thought project, this is it. I've been stressed at work for the past 2 weeks~it's gone from I want to bang my head on my desk from boredom to being overwhelmed. No happy medium. So, the glass (or two) of wine after work and this project go along very well.

I love the kitty stitch markers. And I think this tank will be ready for you to wear on the first warm day...you've made a lot of progress already.

What cute stitch markers! I've had those bang-head-on-desk days this week at work, and I'm ready for school to end. It can't come soon enough.

I love the color and the pattern you're using. You've gotten a lot done; I knit and unknit all week on my test-knit project and just can't seem to get past The Stupids. I want to burn it, stomp it, throw it away and bury it, but I've got to slog on.
