I went to the Beach!
The sand is a harder in the Keys than it is in NJ, and I was hoping to get to the beach at least once. We did, on Wednesday, our last full day of vacation. Even though I couldn't walk that far and had to sit close to the stairs, it was good to have my toes in the sand. And, I went in the ocean! It was a little scary walking in, I was very unsteady on my feet. After about 3 times of trying and going back to my chair I decided I was going ot DO it. And I did. The water could have been a little warmer, I was chilly until I got used to it, had to go out to about waist deep to feel comfortable standing, and by then, I didn't want to get out. I was so happy to be in the Atlantic Ocean again, and even though it's not "my" Atlantic, which I don't think I'll ever be in again, it was wonderful. Bahia Honda is really pretty. I love these pictures. Enjoy!

I'm so glad you got to get wet in the Atlantic. Your vacation sounds wonderful. I'll take one of those for a dream.
Oh, Nancy! Congrats on getting into the water and walking on the beach. I know that is a huge accomplishment!
