Update on FFBE

Ah, here I go again. Even though the bag for my pal got rave reviews at the knitting class on Wednesday, I am still not happy with it. Mainly, the handle placement. I think they are spaced too close to the center. So, last night I cut off the felted tabs and I'm going to knit and felt new ones. But...I *might* even make a whole new bag, except for the 'flowers', with more rows between the decreases. I am in between knitting projects, and have time...and yarn...so...stay tuned!
*edit--moved the tabs over, looks better. am happy. it's done. unless, hmmmm...should I try to embelish the flowers with a bead in the center? if you're of a mind, scroll down and look at the bag and give me some thoughts.
**edit again--I found some beads in my stash and added them on to the flowers (thanks KM, you were right). the picture on the right is almost the true color of the bag, on the left is the bag
with the beads added to the centers of the flowers. Can't really tell, I see, but it
looks pretty good. That's it, I am done.

I am the same way. If I don't like how a project looks, I alter it until I'm happy, too.

i'll keep altering - to a point. it may look different in person, but i scrolled down and looked at that bag and it looks FABULOUS!!! AMAZING!!! GORGEOUS!!! (yeah - i like it...) why would you want to change it? perhaps it is different in person - kind of like celebrities.

I think I'd probably add centers on the flowers. I know some of this is the photo (lose definition to the camera) but, I think the flowers would look great with a dark center...to really make them the focal of the bag. Even if you didn't add centers though...I'd be happy if this was my bag. =0)

Oh my gosh, I really love this bag! I'm so jealous of your partner (even though my bag is quite nice, too)!
